Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Hartlepool

Salary: GBP42,238 + quarterly bonus

Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established engineering team at a large-scale manufacturing site in Hartlepool. You ll be part of a small, multi-skilled team delivering essential maintenance support to ensure the reliability of production equipment.

What you ll be doing:

  • Supporting both planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities
  • Diagnosing faults and restoring plant operations quickly and effectively
  • Interpreting electrical diagrams and wiring systems to identify issues
  • Contributing to improvements in process control and automation systems

What you ll bring to the team:

  • A completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in electrical maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Ideally from a heavy engineering or industrial background

Technical experience with the following is desirable:

  • Overhead crane systems
  • Siemens / Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs
  • AC/DC motors, drives, and gearboxes
  • Inverters, converters, and speed feedback systems
