You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining electrical systems in a critical engineering environment. Our client is currently recruiting a Electrical Maintenance Technican for their South Ayrshire base. As Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for serviicing and maintaining commercial and industrial installations within a highly specialised, precision and critical engineering environment within a manufacturing facility, as part of a small and dedicated in-house team of around 25 technical staff and a large contingent of specialised sub-contractors.
In an Engineering role, the primary objective for the Electrical Maintenance Technician is to successfully complete Electrical & Electronic Engineering activities, to a high standard, compliant with the IET 18th edition and health and safety at work act. Provision for further academic qualifications and professional development is encouraged and supported.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will report to the Operations Manager during the successful completion of the following responsibilities and duties, on a rotating shift basis. Overtime may be required from time to time when completing contracted duties, and will in general be considered additional to the contract and salary. There is also a requirement to participate in an on-call procedure in support of site activities.
Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental procedures, rules and regulations at all times. Keep satisfactory records of daily duties and completed works as instructed or requested. Assist in the Interface with clients, customers, sub-contractors and suppliers as required. Out of normal hours working (overtime) may be required from time to time by mutual agreement.

Recognised electrical qulaifications
18th Edition
Experience in maintenance, service and installation of electrical systems is required.
Additional training will be provided as required to ensure skills are up to date and for the proper execution of the role. A commitment is required for the Electrical Technician to attend and successfully complete job specific and relevant training.
