Job summary

Westray Recruitment Group are partnering with a global household client in Teesside to appoint a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias). The role focuses on maintaining plant and equipment, fault diagnosis, and supporting new manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production facility.

Time served, highly capable in reading electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings, with GMP and H&S knowledge, are essential; the position offers stability and clear progression within a

Qualifications

• Time served multi-skilled electrical engineer or equivalent.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems, quality and H&S.
• Able to read electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings; GMP experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance of plant and equipment to keep production running.
• Diagnose faults, rectify and modify production plant and machinery.
• Respond quickly to plant and machinery breakdowns.
• Read layout, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
• Develop and adhere to the site PPM programme and suggest improvements.
• Support introduction of new manufacturing equipment and services.
• Operate panel vision driven equipment.

The Role

• To prioritise maintenance of plant and equipment as necessary to ensure the effective running of the production facility.
• To take direct responsibility for fault diagnosis, rectification and modification of production plant and machinery.
• To respond quickly and effectively to plant and machinery breakdowns.
• To read layout, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
• To develop and adhere to the site PPM programme, implementing and recommending improvements.
• To support the successful introduction of new manufacturing equipment and services.
• To operate panel vision driven equipment.

The Person

• Time served Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer or Multi Skilled with Electrical bias
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of:
• Maintenance management systems
