Maintenance Technician required in Telford, Shropshire

Due to expansion we are looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire). This role will be working day shifts Monday to Friday (37 hours per week) and the salary is up to £34K (dependant on experience).

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is electrically biased, and preferably someone who holds their 17th or 18th edition; other electrical certificates/qualifications would also be acceptable.

You will be working in a small team of four within the Engineering team, and this would be a great fit for someone who is either a Junior Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician with some Engineering/Maintenance experience who would like to develop their skill set further.

What You Will Do

• Install and commission new machinery, ensuring seamless integration into the production process.
• Plan and execute routine scheduled and preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
• Provide electrical engineering support to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with relevant teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logging all breakdowns and servicing activities.
• Adhere to Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, and PPE policies and procedures at all times.

What You Will Bring
