Job Description
As the Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be tasked with the following;
- Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and plant systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements in production processes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
- Support the installation of new machinery and equipment as required.
- Provide technical assistance during breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Participate in planned preventative maintenance schedules and projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Maintenance Technician should have:
- A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and controls.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A commitment to safety standards and best practices in engineering.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team within the Sheffield site.
