Overview

The Company

Our client is a market leader in their sector. They are now looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to work a 2 shift role.

The Role
  • Provide engineering/ maintenance support to the division by performing plant preventative maintenance and engineering support including out of hours.
  • Also has responsibility for electrical/ mechanical maintenance, repair and fault finding of plant and equipment.
  • Responsible for enacting the maintenance, implementation and improvement of plant preventative maintenance.
  • Electrical/ mechanical fault finding, isolation and repair of equipment.
  • Providing input into the electrical maintenance and operation of plant equipment.
  • Working on plant improvement initiatives.
  • Working with suitable external engineering services as and when required to ensure safe and effective operation of plant equipment.
  • Preserve employee safety, welfare and involvement.
The Person
  • Formal Electronic/Electrical Engineering qualification with practical experience working as a plant electrician.
  • 18th Edition Regulations.
  • Excellent internal and external communications skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of working as a plant electrician.
  • Working knowledge of PLC programming and able to read electrical/ technical drawings.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical safety requirements.
  • Computer literate.
