Electrical Maintenance Technician - c.£48k - shifts - Doncaster
The position of Electrical Maintenance Technician operates a 12-hour shift (2 days, 2nights and 4 off) over an 8-week rolling rota.
Hours: 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
Pension: Company contributions min of 7% up to 10%

Environment: Heavy industrial, processing plant, this role wouldn't suit someone who likes a spotless working environment

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will work as part of a multi skilled team handling the day-to-day maintenance of all industrial plant and machinery.
To install and maintain new and existing equipment, whilst ensuring production is not interrupted.
Assist with carrying out hands on electrical engineering routines, in accordance with the planned preventative maintenance programmes as well as emergency breakdowns.
Health and safety are paramount on this site and you will be expected to conduct risk assessments on all jobs before undertaking any work / tasks and comply with all health and safety procedures.
As part of the team, you will assisting other mechanical / operational departments when required.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will need:
Proven Electrical experience in a heavy industry, manufacturing or process environment.
A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship preferably with a City & Guilds or equivalent NVQ qualification.
Excellent trouble shooting skills, with the ability to plan and work to tight timelines while managing several tasks.
Knowledge of PLCs as well as pneumatic and hydraulic components.
Strong communication and IT skills.
