Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician

Our client is a global leader in the drinks & beverage sector with a range of top brands under their product range.

We are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their packaging plant based in Belfast, working on a shift pattern covering days & nights, 4 on 4 off to provide 24/7 cover.

The Role

1. Electrical maintenance and repairs on a range of production machinery
2. Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and runs at high performance
3. Fault finding and problem solving technical issues
4. Preventative and reactive maintenance
5. Work with conveying systems, high speed packaging, and automated controls
6. Mostly electrical work but working across mechatronic systems also
7. Update CMMS system and record accurately
8. Work in a safe and effective manner, adhering to hygiene policy

What we are looking for

1. HNC or Level 3 apprenticeship in Electrical discipline
2. Proven maintenance experience in a production/FMCG setting
3. Strong electrical bias, knowledge of PLC's, inverters, servo drives, motors
4. Experience working with automated, high speed machinery
5. Ability to fault find and troubleshoot effectively
