Job summary

BSW Timber Ltd is offering an enthusiastic engineering maintenance technician apprentice role starting this September. You will join a multiskilled engineering team, learning to maintain, repair and operate industrial sawmilling machinery while studying towards engineering qualifications.

The four-year apprenticeship combines workplace training with study and career development, supported throughout by the company.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths, English and a science based subject.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and operate industrial sawmilling machinery.
• Learn and study towards engineering qualifications.
• Work with the multiskilled engineering team to gain practical experience.
