Electrical Maintenance Manager – Hard Services Provider – SE London - up to 60K

One of our long-standing clients is currently looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Manager to work as part of their busy estates team to service and maintain one of their most important contracts based in South East London.

They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager who can provide first-class customer service, organize, manage, and motivate their engineering team, and support senior management.

The role reports directly to the Estates Director, with whom you will work closely daily.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The main duties include:

• Control of all electrical services and management of all related engineering contracts.
• Manage all statutory compliance.
• Control of all building services, infrastructure, maintenance, and repairs.
• Assist with project management of building refurbishment projects.
• Ensure all plant, backup, and monitoring systems are maintained in good order, including regular testing in accordance with legislation.
• Support troubleshooting engineering support.
• Support and adjust infrastructure daily, liaising with user groups, preparing documentation, and supervising contractors.
• Manage outsourced contracts.
• Ensure contractors adhere to procedures and legislation.
• Monitor costs for value for money.
• Chair regular update meetings with contract managers.
• Manage electrical incidents and outages.
• Lead initiatives to identify additional work opportunities and technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance for high-standard maintenance and swift defect rectification.
• Coordinate resources for technical and innovative solutions.
• Lead energy sustainability initiatives to improve consumption and seek efficient technologies.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Recognized electrical apprenticeship and fully qualified (e.g., C&G, HNC/HND).
• Proven experience in hard services maintenance roles.
• Experience managing contractors.
• Experience working in estate environments, hospitals, or healthcare.
• Strong team player with problem-solving skills under pressure and innovative solutions.
• Committed to quality and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
