Electrical Maintenance Foot Mobile Engineer, Southend-on-Sea

My client is a Facilities Management engineering company providing mechanical and electrical solutions to their commercial client portfolio in central London.

Company Overview

With 12 years of trading, specializing in general M&E maintenance, they serve clients exclusively in central London (zones 1 & 2), mainly in multi-tenanted office spaces around the city. The company employs 31 staff, including 10 office personnel and 21 engineers. Currently, they have 15 foot mobile engineers and are looking to add two more to their team.

Job Responsibilities

Working on a foot mobile basis across a portfolio of high-end commercial properties, you will carry out maintenance and breakdown repairs on equipment such as:

• AHUs
• Pumps/Motors
• Emergency Light testing
• HVAC systems
• FCUs
• Plant rooms
• 3 Phase electrical systems
• BMS
• Water temperature checks

Package

• Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
• Travel paid for within zones 1 to 6, and beyond (company covers travel from your location)
• Working hours: 8 am to 5 pm, usually finishing by 4 pm
• Call out: 1 in 21, with £125 standby pay; use of own vehicle or public transport preferred
• Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays
• Additional benefits: Death in service scheme
