Job summary

Dovetail and Slate Ltd is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Maintenance Engineering to join our engineering team in the Middlesbrough area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching across Pearson Level 3 BTECs and City & Guilds Level 3 T Levels in classroom and workshop settings.

You will prepare learners with the skills, knowledge and professional behaviours needed for progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study within electrical and engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and industry-relevant programmes of study across classroom and workshop settings.
• Design and deliver assessment programmes in line with awarding body and organization standards.
• Use diagnostic assessments to identify learner strengths and areas for development, implementing timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in internal and external quality assurance processes.
• Promote high standards of learner behaviour, attendance and progress while supporting teaching strategies.
