Job description

Job Title: General Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced General Site Electrical Maintenance Engineer with electrical and general building maintenance expertise, along with strong client-facing skills, to join a well-established private members multi-sports and social club located in London SW15.

Details:
  • Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum + Benefits
  • Location: South West London (SW15)
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Overview:

In this role, you will assist with all planned and reactive maintenance tasks at the club, including electrical work, pool plant maintenance, and general site upkeep. You will manage and update the maintenance log system, liaise with department heads, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Strong client-facing skills
  • Knowledge of commercial heating and ventilation systems
  • Familiarity with planned maintenance systems
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
Desirable:
  • Electrical Installation qualification / City & Guilds with 18th edition (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of plumbing and formal plumbing qualifications
  • Pool Plant qualification
  • Experience in similar environments
