Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with basic knowledge of Ladder Logic / Function Block programming looking for an exciting and varied role where you'll be trained to become the go-to Control System Specialist?

Do you want a role working within a highly skilled team of professionals, attending courses to become a highly proficient technical expert?

This role involves working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a focus on Controls Engineering. The company is updating its production facilities and seeks to develop an engineer with a basic understanding of Function Block/Ladder Logic programming into a controls expert.

This position suits an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with basic PLC programming knowledge eager to become a technical expert for a global business investing in the latest manufacturing technology.

The Role:

1. Planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance of manufacturing machinery
2. Function block and ladder logic programming for Siemens DCS and PLC systems
3. Program adjustments for ABB Robots
4. Training courses to enhance your Controls Engineering skills
5. Learning to program PLCs from scratch
6. Rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am - 2pm) and Afternoons (2pm - 10pm), with Saturday mornings paid at 1.5x

The Person:

• Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar
• Basic PLC programming knowledge (Ladder Logic, Function Block)
• Looking to progress and become a Controls Engineer
