Job summary

Randstad CPE advertises an experienced electrical maintenance engineer at a static site near Portsmouth. The role runs Monday to Friday, focusing on electrical fault finding, maintenance and site safety, with OT opportunities and ongoing training.

You will carry out maintenance on plant and building services, support mechanical equipment, and help with HVAC systems, working within a facilities management environment on a single site in the Portsmouth area.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds or equivalent).
• Strong electrical fault finding and maintenance experience.
• Experience in facilities management, building services or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair on plant, equipment and building services systems.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and respond to reactive maintenance requests to minimise disruption to site operations.
• Support maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, fans, belts and bearings.
• Assist with HVAC systems, motors, drives and mechanical plant, diagnosing faults and implementing repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and maintain maintenance records.
