Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar with knowledge of PLC programming or fault finding looking to join a well-established Automation specialist who are growing significantly? They offer dedicated training and progression to becoming a fully-fledged Software Engineer and opportunities to deliver high-quality projects across the world.

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing Automation company that provides design and manufacture solutions for many different clients and partners around the world, which include turnkey control and automation packages. They have created a global client base by providing engineering solutions ranging from manufacturing and production companies to automotive suppliers and water treatment plants.

This role requires you to be involved in the full product life cycle, from conception to completion. You will be involved in quoting the initial design, producing the specifications, reading electrical drawings, writing PLC programs from scratch, authorising PLC/HMI software, and testing and commissioning the system upon installation at the client's site. The company will provide full support and training in all of their methodologies.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer or similar with the ability to program or fault find on PLCs, looking to join a rapidly expanding company that offers the ability to make a real difference to their clients, ongoing training and support to progress technically, and the potential for progression into managerial positions.

The Role:

1. Ladder Logic / Structured Text programming from scratch
2. Reading Electrical Drawings and Schematics
3. Liaising with Customers and Clients to deliver projects
4. Complete Commissioning and on-site FATs

1. Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar
2. Background with Siemens / Rockwell PLCs
3. Commutable to Trowbridge
