Job summary

W Talent are representing a manufacturing business recruiting an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for a site-based role in Goole, East Yorkshire. You will maintain production equipment, respond to breakdowns and support preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires an electrical bias, experience in manufacturing, and a proactive approach to fault-finding and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills and knowledge of PLCs.
• Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive approach to fault-finding and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities and order spare parts.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain maintenance records.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to prioritise repairs.
