Job description


Our client is one of the world's largest leading manufacturers, they have a presence in all the leading supermarkets in the UK and are expanding.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities:


Maintain and improve the electrical reliability of process equipment and infrastructure.Work as part of a skilled maintenance team, supporting performance, energy efficiency, and production uptime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across systems.

  • Diagnose and repair faults on motors, PLCs, drives, sensors, and control systems.

  • Support Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen) and energy efficiency programs.

  • Ensure safety compliance, including LOTO procedures and recordkeeping.

  • Collaborate across disciplines to complete projects and resolve issues.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing.

  • Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2381/2377, HNC/HND).

  • Knowledge of BS7671 regulations and strong fault-finding skills.

  • Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance tracking.
Desirable Skills:

  • PLC programming and diagnostics.

  • Additional certifications in electrical safety or infrastructure systems.
