Job summary

Pioneer Selection is partnering with a growing manufacturer to recruit an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join the engineering team.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, focusing on electrical fault finding, diagnostics, control panels, motors, sensors, drives and PLC systems, with occasional mechanical maintenance as required to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience.
• Electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach.
• Experience working within a production environment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery with a focus on electrical systems including control panels, motors, sensors and PLCs.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support machinery upgrades, installations and continuous improvement projects.
