Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is advising on an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role in Chichester. The position offers a salary up to £44,000 and benefits including a pension and healthcare. You will maintain high-speed production machinery, record refurbishment needs and support operations with training materials.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice-trained with at least 2 years in manufacturing engineering, experience with PLCs, and CMMS systems, and be able to work on a rotation pattern.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer with /NVQ3 in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work a rotation pattern.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably FMCG.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing equipment in production lines, warehouses and distribution centres.
• Understanding of PLC control systems and field devices.
• Strong MS Office skills and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on high speed production machinery.

Roles and responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance including planned and reactive maintenance activities on high speed production machinery
• Record all relevant data, including any relevant refurbishment and overhauls that are required.
• Support the operations teams by developing training materials
• Work alongside other teams to identify solve problems.
• Continually improve equipment maintenance strategies
• Analyse PLC faults and diagnose external faults using various software programs

Requirements

• Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer, with a /NVQ3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Ability to work a rotation pattern.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the FMCG sector.
