About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hayes! In this exciting role, you'll take charge of performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a critical data centre environment. Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of key systems that keep things running smoothly!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily inspections and servicing/maintenance on all Mechanical & Engineering systems and tech equipment to keep everything in top shape.
  2. Ensure the site’s environmental conditions meet safety regulations and standards.
  3. Respond to BMS alarms and handle emergency repairs swiftly and efficiently.
  4. Work closely with third-party vendors, ensuring all work complies with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Flag and report any issues with subcontractor performance that fall below expectations.
  6. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on equipment, ensuring reliability.
  7. Monitor BMS for any HVAC-related issues and tackle them head-on.
  8. Conduct facility walkthroughs and take meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utility systems.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any facility and plant defects to keep systems running smoothly.
  10. Follow all safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and quality control measures.
  11. Complete necessary training and development to stay sharp and capable.
  12. Keep maintenance records and reports up-to-date for smooth operations.
