Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd have partnered with a leading FMCG manufacturer in Nelson, recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team. You’ll be at the heart of keeping production lines moving, performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors and packaging machinery.

You’ll bring a Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification, strong fault-finding skills and manufacturing experience (food, drink or packaging).

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid experience in mechanical fitting and electrical fault finding.
• Background in manufacturing, ideally food, drink, or packaging.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimum downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team.
• Helping shape a proactive, solutions-driven maintenance culture.
