Job summary
Energy Jobline ZR in Henfield is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to maintain plant and machinery, ensuring safe, reliable operation across our manufacturing site.
You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose electrical faults, read schematics and support improvements to reduce downtime. The role offers a 3:00pm-11:00pm shift or a 12-hour pattern, with overtime opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Skilled in planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLCs, drives and automation systems.
- Strong health and safety awareness and safe isolation practices.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding and repairs.
- Diagnose faults across electrical, control and automation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Support installations, modifications and site improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment safety.
- Assist external contractors and comply with inspection requirements.
