Job summary

Aspion Search is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role on a manufacturing site in the Wirral area. You will maintain production machinery, carry out planned maintenance and assist with improvements, PLC/HMI fault finding and installation work.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure safe, reliable operation of plant and site services and work closely with production teams. This is a days-based position with an early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
Minimum five years’ experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing.
Able to read electrical schematics and work independently.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across production machinery and site services.
Complete planned preventative maintenance and address defects.
Diagnose faults on machinery and control systems.
Support equipment installations and machinery improvement projects.
Follow safe isolation and site procedures.
