Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is working with a UK-based manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their established maintenance team in Haverfordwest. The role is a days-based position, Monday to Friday, offering overtime opportunities and strong job security.

The ideal candidate will hold an HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering, have post-apprenticeship experience in a food manufacturing environment, and possess 18th Edition training along with solid organisational

Qualifications

A HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering and appropriate post-apprenticeship experience in a food manufacturing environment would be of benefit.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Having completed 18th Edition training is necessary.
Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Ensuring plant equipment is operated and functioning in the correct manner.
Maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for its intended purpose.
Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
Assisting production with electrical problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate.
Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards
