Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd are working with a Port Talbot based, globally recognised manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a Continental Panama shift pattern. You will maintain highly automated production lines and contribute to continuous improvement.

You should be apprentice-trained with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, with PLC fault finding expertise and a proactive approach to safety and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven PLC fault finding and electrical diagnostics skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC faults and electrical issues.
• Support production improvements through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Minimise downtime on high-speed automated equipment.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to keep plant operations running.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet health, safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and suggest improvements.
