Job description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – High Wycombe

Salary:£48,000
Hours:8am – 5pm (Monday – Friday)
Call-Out Rota:1 in 3 weeks (Standby allowance TBC)
Site Type:Static commercial site (no van provided)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems
  • Inspect and maintain emergency lighting, distribution boards, and building controls
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults on single and three-phase power systems
  • Support planned shutdowns, testing, and inspection activities
  • Liaise with helpdesk and site management to ensure works are completed on time
  • Maintain compliance and H&S documentation
  • Participate in a call-out rota (1 in 3) and respond to site issues as required
  • Collaborate with other engineering staff and subcontractors

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven commercial maintenance experience
  • Comfortable working independently on a static site
  • LV knowledge and willingness to undertake AP responsibilities (training provided)
