Electrical Maintenance Engineer – £47,000 – Oxford Circus
Location:
Oxford Circus
Salary:£47,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours– Monday to Friday Days 8AM – 5PM
Our client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their Prestigious Contract based inOxford Circuscompleting electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance as well as other general building services. The candidate will be rewarded with a fantastic package including £47,000 salary, clear progression path, overtime, pension, and career stability.

Duties:

  • Carrying out daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out daily emergency callout tasks
  • All Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS and lighting systems.
  • Will be required to carry duties on toilets, drainage, tiling and sinks.
  • Dealing with Pumps and Motors
  • Engineers must be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and testing in compliance with regulations.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize service interruptions.
  • Collaborate with the wider facilities team to maintain a safe, compliant, and functional environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition certification (or willingness to achieve).
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Has the will and desire to succeed and learn
  • Good building services knowledge
