Job summary

SRG is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a permanent role in Horsham, West Sussex. The position follows a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights) with hours from 06:30 to 18:30 and 18:30 to 06:30.

You will maintain and improve plant performance in a fast-paced industrial environment. The successful candidate will have an Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent), strong fault-finding skills in industrial settings, and familiarity with PLCs,

Qualifications

Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (HNC or equivalent).
Experience in industrial/manufacturing or automated environments.
Familiar with PLC fault finding and instrumentation systems; 18th Edition advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair faults across electrical systems, including sensors, relays and contactors.
Work with control panels and MCCs; support plant availability and continuous improvement.
Perform electrical fault finding and interpret technical drawings.
Work with controls/instrumentation including temperature, pressure and flow systems.
Maintain health & safety, compliance and housekeeping; report incidents promptly.
