Job summary
Resourcing Group is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a university estate in Reading. The role covers planned and reactive electrical maintenance across campus buildings, with a 36-hour week and a generous leave entitlement.
You will hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, and have electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience. On-call rotation begins after an initial period, with a £4,500 annual on-call allowance and upskilling opportunities.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Electrical maintenance and fault-finding background.
- 2391 Testing and Inspection advantageous.
- JIB Gold Card advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across campus buildings.
- Electrical fault-finding, testing and compliance work.
- Ensuring statutory electrical compliance and safe systems of work.
- Joining the on-call rota following an initial period.
- Monday to Friday, 36-hour working week.
