Location: York
Salary: Circa £42,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days Only
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

With a focus on efficiency, quality, and innovation, we are seeking a skilled Electrically Biased Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production facility.

The Role

As an Electrically Biased Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems across the site.
2. Fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
3. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production equipment.
4. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food manufacturing standards.
5. Working collaboratively with the wider engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

1. A qualified electrical engineer with experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
2. Strong electrical fault-finding skills, ideally with experience working with PLCs and automated machinery.
3. Some mechanical knowledge to support wider engineering tasks.
4. A proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
