Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wrexham

Shift: 3 on 3 off Day Shift

Salary: Up to £48,000

Additional Hours: If Required

We are seeking a motivated maintenance engineer to join a market-leading manufacturer within their field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance. The company offers progressive training and development, supporting employees in enhancing their skills within a welcoming team of engineers. This role is ideal for a strong engineer seeking their next challenging opportunity within a secure and stable company.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
  2. Machine breakdown repairs
  3. PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
  4. Working with sensors, drives, relays, inverters
  5. Maintaining conveyors, bearings, belts, chains
  6. Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Maintenance experience
  • Electrical qualifications (desirable)
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • PLC experience (advantageous)
  • Mechanical experience (desirable)
