Job description

Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Location: Widnes
Shifts: Double Days Monday-Friday (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm)
Salary: £45,500
Holiday Days: 22 days holiday (Rising to max. 27 each completed year) plus 8 bank holidays + Christmas Shutdown

The Company

ATA are working with a multi-site manufacturing business who specialise in their field of work supplying to some huge international clients. Due to their constant growth, they’re looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join their ranks.

The Role of The Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
  1. Responding to reactive breakdowns.
  2. Fault finding, problem solving and repair on manufacturing/production machinery to maximize plant reliability and performance.
  3. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of electrical plant equipment and components.
  4. Provide on shift electrical support to our maintenance/engineering team.
  5. General site electrical facilities maintenance including lighting checks and repairs, minor installation work, repair of electrical appliances and equipment.
  6. Monitor and control electrical spares.
Requirements Of The Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
  1. Time served electrical maintenance engineer.
  2. Previous Industrial experience is essential.
  3. Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  4. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and technical manuals.
  5. Proficient in fault finding and diagnostics on a range of automated electrical systems including PLC logic (ideally Siemens but not essential), inverter drives, 3 phase motors and control systems.
