The RoleAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping production equipment running smoothly. You’ll tackle both electrical and some mechanical challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. From fault-finding to installations, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the heartbeat of this innovative operation.
️ Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance EngineerPerform proactive and reactive maintenance on high-tech machinery including pumps and support systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults with precision and speed.
Conduct basic PLC fault-finding and make necessary adjustments.
Install and wire electrical systems to spec.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimise equipment performance.
Maintain safety and compliance across all maintenance activities.
Keep detailed records of maintenance work and resolutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost reliability and performance.
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or R&D setting.
Strong hands-on knowledge of pumps and industrial machinery.
Skilled in electrical fault diagnosis, wiring, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.
Calm, analytical problem-solver with great communication skills.
Engineering qualification in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics (desirable).
