Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer — Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new role? Are you an electrically minded problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment? We're looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team!

Location: Dudley • Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE • Type: Permanent • Shifts: Rotating

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting electrical faults and restoring equipment to full operation quickly
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance to keep machinery safe and reliable
  • Installing and commissioning new equipment and upgrades
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical standards and site safety policies
  • Working closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Qualifications
  • A background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing/engineering setting
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, variable speed drives, and motor control
  • Confidence in interpreting wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  • Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition certification (desirable but not essential)
