Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Stirling is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The role is shift-based and involves fault finding, diagnostics, and maintaining machinery. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in Electrical engineering and strong problem-solving skills. Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Qualifications in Electrical engineering or equivalent are required.
  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostics in both emergency breakdown and planned situations.
  • Work with a planned maintenance system alongside reactive maintenance.
  • Modify and improve machinery and plant operations.

Skills

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Experience with pneumatics
Experience with hydraulics

Education

Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical engineering

Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Stirling and is looking to add an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their team. The company has had extensive investment recently and is looking to expand their team. This is a shift-based role including dayshift & nightshift.

The Role:

  • Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
  • Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
  • Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical engineering
  • Experience with pneumatics & hydraulics would be beneficial
