Job description

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their established Engineering Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality, performance, and continuous improvement.

The role is working 4 on, 4 off. Consisting of 2 x day shifts and 2 x night shifts.

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

Responding to breakdowns, executing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting planned shutdowns

Driving continuous improvement by actively contributing to performance enhancement initiatives within the team

Collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders, and fellow Engineers

Working as part of a three-person team responsible for maintaining operations across the Bottling/Canning Halls, Process Plant, and associated Services

Candidate Profile:

Ideally time-served with an HNC in Electrical Engineering

Experience in a packaging environment is advantageous, though not essential

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and PLC software – ideally Siemens S7

Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Comfortable making decisions independently in high-pressure situations
