On-Site CNC Machine Tool Engineer - Electrically Biased (Blackburn/Preston)

Weekday days based role.

£37,000 - £40,000 + Guaranteed Weekly OT + Bonus + Full OEM Training + Premium Benefits
Permanent | 45 hrs/week | Early Finish Fridays | High-Security Site

We are recruiting for a specialist Machine Tool Engineer to join a dedicated team working exclusively on a fleet of high-end CNC machining centres at a leading manufacturing facility.

This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the most advanced machinery in the UK-machines ranging from £1.5M to £8M in value-backed by full OEM training and long-term development.

Key Details:

• Location: Blackburn/Preston area

• Shift: Mon-Thurs 8:00-18:00, Fri 8:00-15:30 37.5 hour week + overtime (45 hrs/week)

• Contracted Hours: 37.5 hrs/week, with 7.5 hrs guaranteed overtime paid at time and a half

• Security: Due to site clearance requirements, British-born nationals only

Requirements:

• Strong electrical bias - around 70% of the role is electrical

• Proven experience working on Siemens 840D controls (essential - fault finding)

• Solid background in CNC machine tool maintenance

• Comfortable working within a high-security, regulated engineering environment

• Team-oriented and reliable - working as part of a close-knit, highly skilled on-site team of 10
