Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a temporary assignment in Portsmouth. The role involves electrical maintenance and supporting general building services on a busy waterfront site, with a hands-on, self-sufficient approach.

The position starts ASAP, offers 40-hour weeks (Mon-Fri) with 7- or 8-am start times and will run for approximately 2 to 3 months, with potential extension. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance and reactive repairs across the site.
• Supporting general building maintenance as required.
• Taking on basic plumbing tasks (e.g., changing taps, replacing toilet components, unblocking toilets).
• Assessing each task and escalating when beyond scope.
• Working safely around the public and on-site tenants.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a well-regarded facilities team at a prestigious, busy waterfront destination in Portsmouth.

Role: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Portsmouth

Start: ASAP

Contract: Temporary, initially 2 to 3 months, with the potential to extend

Days: 40 hour weeks Monday - Friday

Hours: 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm

As Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias), you'll carry out electrical maintenance and support general building services across a popular, well-run site. This is a varied, hands-on role within a professional team, and it's a great fit for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) who is self-sufficient and enjoys a mix of tasks.

• Carrying out electrical maintenance and reactive repairs across the site
