Maintenance Engineer, Poole, £45,000

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued efficient and safe running of production machinery, as well as undertaking general maintenance across the site. With a bias for electrical / electronic principles, you’ll be familiar with a range of electro-mechanical systems.

As aMaintenance Engineer,you will:

  • Implement aplanned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedulefor production machinery across the site.
  • Be available for reactive maintenance, reducing machinery down-time.
  • Working to improve plantefficiency and performance.
  • Providingtechnical engineering support to the manufacturing team.
  • Coordinatingmaintenance activitieswith your teammates, ensuring allsafety and site policiesare met.
  • Completion and communication ofreporting and tracking documentation.

The successfulMaintenance Engineerwill be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience undertaking maintenance activities on machinery.
  • The ability to maintain accuratePPMs and service records.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanicalsafety systems.
  • An understanding ofhealth and safety documentation, including food safety.
  • Completion ofrelevant Engineering Qualification(eg NVQ / HND).
