Maintenance Electrician - Join a Dynamic Team

Are you a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a growing team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Respond to reactive calls, performing first-time fixes and scoping quotes for more extensive repairs to minimize downtime. You will also carry out all planned maintenance tasks according to SFG20 standards, keeping meticulous records of completed work.
  • Safety & Compliance: Be responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of your team and others. You will take a proactive approach to mitigating risks and ensure all work is compliant with statutory regulations.
  • Technical Tasks: Your main duties will include a wide range of electrical tasks, such as lighting and power repairs, emergency light testing, power fault investigation, and generator testing. You will also perform asset replacement (pumps, fans, motors), HVAC maintenance, and EICR remedial works.
  • Client & Team Collaboration: As a client-facing role, you will maintain high standards of customer care. A flexible approach is essential, as you'll assist the wider team with tasks outside your core trade to meet operational targets.
  • System Management: Ensure timely updates to the CAFM system to maintain statutory compliance and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified electrician to the 18th edition.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing (ideally).
  • PASMA / IPAF trained (preferably).
Experience:
  • Proven experience in trade-related maintenance, installation, and fault finding.
  • Experience with planned preventative maintenance and reactive works, and meeting KPIs.
  • HVAC knowledge and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:
  • Basic IT skills and a strong understanding of safety regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Benefits :

  • Salary: £44,000 per annum
  • On-Call: Participate in an Out-of-Hours call-out rota, which is 1 in 6.
  • Full-time permanent role Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
