Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Rate: Up to £44,000

Shift: Monday to Friday

Industry: FMCG/Manufacturing

Location: Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire

Synergi are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading FMCG Manufacturers based in the Nottingham area whose products are used across the UK. This is the chance to join a company that will help you develop and grow as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be working alongside other Engineers with a vast amount of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Conducting reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery.
2. Responding quickly and efficiently to any unscheduled plant stoppages.
3. Working closely within the engineering & production team to ensure maximum efficiency.
4. Possessing a good level of understanding of the process, products, and all quality procedures.
5. Responsible for overseeing planned maintenance.
6. Diagnosing faults and identifying problems on machinery and implementing solutions.

The Ideal Background of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

1. Recognized Engineering Qualification in Electrical Engineering; City & Guilds NVQ Level 3.
2. A recognized engineering apprenticeship.
3. Heavy industrial experience (desirable) or food, pharmaceutical, FMCG background.
4. Experience of a plant with pneumatic control and operation and common industrial bearing systems.
