Job summary

A fast-paced manufacturing company based in Livingston is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support their engineering function. The role involves conducting proactive/reactive maintenance, assessing and prioritizing workload, and supporting the installation of new machinery. Ideal candidates will have an HND/HNC qualification and manufacturing experience, particularly with conveyors and motors.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification.
• Manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive/reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Assess and prioritize workload to minimize downtime.
• Support the installation of new machines per manufacturer specifications.

Our fast paced manufacturing client, based in Livingston and are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team and support the engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity to work a dayshift/nightshift rota.

Role

• Proactive/reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• In the absence of immediate supervisor, assess and prioritise your own workload to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Support the install of new machines and equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Candidate

• Apprentice trained, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification
• Fast paced manufacturing experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors will be expected in this role
• Manufacturing background will be essential
