Job Description:

The Role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

1. Planned and reactive maintenance across the plant
2. Machine modifications
3. Automation projects
4. Project work to improve machinery reliability and reduce downtime

Electrically, the engineer will work on single and three-phase systems, AC/DC drives, inverters, relays, and PLCs. Mechanically, the role involves working on conveyors, bearings, motors, and shafts.

Required Experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum, with experience in the food or packaging industry
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and understand PLC-controlled machinery
• Experience in modifying machinery is a plus
