Kidlington, Oxfordshire (Commutable from Oxford, Banbury, Bicester, Witney, Abingdon)

Are you an Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to progress into robotics and automation? Do you want a hands-on role with full training on robotic systems, PLCs, and cutting-edge automation projects?

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into the world of robotics with a growing engineering company investing heavily in automation.

This company has recently grown into multiple locations. With a strong reputation, a collaborative team of engineers, and a commitment to investing in automation, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their specialist team.

In this role, you\'ll move beyond traditional maintenance work and get involved in automation projects, robotic fault-finding, commissioning new equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is ideal for an electrically biased engineer from a maintenance background who is motivated to develop new skills in robotics, PLCs, and automation.

Responsibilities
  • Training and development into robotics, PLCs, and automation (Fanuc, ABB)
  • Support installation, commissioning, and optimisation of automated equipment
  • Work on CI projects and robotic fault-finding
  • Full sector-specific training into injection moulding
Qualifications
  • Electrical maintenance background (facilities or manufacturing)
  • Hands-on experience in electrical fault-finding and controls
  • Strong interest in robotics, PLCs, and automation technology
  • Practical, solutions-focused, and eager to learn new systems
