Key Responsibilities – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Provide effective planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to minimize production losses.
• Ensure continuous production by fault finding and maintaining equipment safely and logically to eliminate downtime.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime minimal.
• Work with conveyor systems, PLCs, motors, and controls.
• Lead electrical and instrumentation repairs, working with CMMS.
• Diagnose, resolve, and eliminate root causes of faults.
• Implement minor equipment modifications to enhance performance.
• Complete scheduled, corrective, reactive, and improvement maintenance tasks.
• Assist in planning and implementing annual equipment overhauls.

Qualifications & Requirements – Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Dayshift)

• Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing, including heavy, medium, or FMCG environments.
• Understanding of PPM schedules and routine preventative maintenance.
• Ability to find and fix faults efficiently.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
• Fitting, fabricating, and welding experience preferred.
• Proactive fault finding and commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
