Overview

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Location: Aston, Birmingham
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Double Days
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing company in Aston, Birmingham. This full-time role is Monday to Friday on a double day shift pattern, with a salary of £40k-£50k depending on your experience.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Take a hands-on approach to fix issues and prevent downtime
  • Stick to and help improve the planned maintenance schedule
  • Work closely with team leaders to track performance and fix recurring problems
  • Support continuous improvement across the site
  • Help others in the team with fault finding and repairs
Ideal Candidate
  • Completed an apprenticeship and hold a HNC (or similar) in engineering
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production
  • Electrical skills with some mechanical knowledge
  • Able to fault find and make changes on PLCs
  • Experience with robotics is a bonus
  • Understand health & safety in a fast-paced environment
  • Can work on your own or as part of a team
