CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a client direct, one-of-a-kind site in Essex. The role offers a base of £34,797, with a bonus, and 2x overtime, plus on-call allowances and HV/LV Authorised Person responsibilities.

Based at a live Essex site near Loughton, you will be part of a dedicated facilities team maintaining critical building systems 24/7. The job involves working with state-of-the-art equipment, delivering proactive and reactive maintenance,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance on building systems.
• Authorised Person (HV/LV) designation is preferred or required.
• Comfort with 24/7 operations and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance tasks via IWMS, updating records accordingly.
• Diagnose and resolve faults to maintain safe operations with minimal downtime.
• Carry out routine maintenance and statutory testing across HVAC, electrical, public health, fire safety, life safety systems.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Client Direct - One of a kind site - £34,797 + bonus + 2x OT

Duties

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance tasks via the Intelligent Work Management System (IWMS), updating records accordingly.
• Diagnose and resolve engineering faults to maintain safe operations with minimal downtime.
• Carry out routine maintenance and statutory testing across HVAC, electrical, public health, fire safety, life safety systems, and other building engineering assets.
• Conduct site measurements, surveys, and incident management/recovery exercises as directed.
• Support specialist contractors in periodic, reactive, and emergency maintenance.
• Serve as an Authorised Person (HV/LV) – Electrical and/or Mechanical, supporting 24/7 operations
• Complete annual training, performance objectives, and adhere to agreed SLAs, risk assessments, and safety standards.
• Promote health & safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all operations.

Working pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 - 15:0 0 (flexible, can do 08:00 - 16:00 etc)
• 35 hour week
• 1 in 6 call out (after site familiarity)

Package

• Base salary: £34,797
• £1,000 payment as the role doesn't include WFH
• On call allowance ~£2,800
• Bonus: 10% of base salary (£3,220)
• Overtime opportunities: Paid at double the hourly rate on weekends and weekdays
• £1500 for HV/LV Authorised Person Training
