Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in North Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults in machinery, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within manufacturing, production, or a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on skills in electrical maintenance.
  • Competency in diagnosing faults in PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Engineering).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
  • A good understanding of health and safety practices.

Working hours:

Alternate Shift Rota

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday
  • Week 2: Tuesday - Saturday
  • Hours vary from 7am - 5pm or 9am - 7pm
  • 48-hour week
