The basics:

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Shift and pay options available:

Option 1 Days pattern:

Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:00 & Friday 08:00 -15:30

Salary: starting at 41605 this increases to 45037 within the first 12 months. Discussed at interview on how this is achieved.

Option 2 Shifts:

Average working hours per week = 37.5. (only 7 night shifts over a 6 week period)

Wk 1: Mon/Tues 7am to 7pm, Wed/Thur Off, Fri/Sat/Sun 7pm to 7am

Wk 2: Mon/Tues Off, Wed/Thur/Fri 7am to 7pm, Sat/Sun Off

Wk 3: Mon/Tues 7pm to 7am, Wed/Thur/Fri Off, Sat/Sun 7am to 7pm

Wk 4: Mon/Tues Off, Wed/Thur 7pm to 7am, Fri/Sat/Sun Off,

Wk 5: Mon Off, Tues 8am to 3:30pm, Wed/Thur/Fri 8am to 3pm, Sat/Sun Off,

Wk 6: Mon 8am to 3:30pm, Tue/Wed/Thur 8am to 3pm, Fri/Sat/Sun Off

Salary: Salary: starting at 51983 this increases to 55415 within the first 12 months. Discussed at interview on how this is achieved.

Benefits: Annual pay reviews, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + the option to purchase 5 additional days subject to site availability. Pension 6% matched

Overtime rates: 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x Sunday

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe we now require another Electrical maintenance engineer to join the team.

The engineering team consist of around 80 people to which the company can offer real career progression should you wish.

Some engineers have taken their careers within the business around the world - the scope is endless should you desire to progress.

You will be working at a plant that is investing heavily - it is dusty, it is not a clean environment but it is at the forefront of technology and what they do.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprentice trained or above
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment/similar - working within an industrial environment on machinery in an electrical capacity.

Commutable from: Stoke-on-Trent, Werrington, Leek, Ashbourne and surrounding areas.
